ALL IN ONE PAGE vol. 4

To get through life, you have to be tough. You have to show mental fortitude. You have to be resilient. Being resilient means you are able to withstand or recover quickly from difficult conditions, much like the crisis situation we currently are living in. I have experience with difficult and crisis-like situations, specifically with some past health struggles.
First, to talk about an extra idea that may help one be resilient. A big part of resilience is to compartmentalize things into what you can and cannot control. You then only should worry about the space that you can control.
Life is hard enough with our own problems, but when you add on the pressures of the outside world that you cannot control, life may feel too overwhelming or daunting. This is much easier said than done, as it can be difficult not to worry about what someone else may choose in a relationship or about whether or not there will be another recession or depression in the near future.
Now to be sure, I feel like a bit of a hypocrite writing this, as I struggle with worrying about what other people will think or worry about other things in my life that I cannot control. I talked a bit about meditation, or prayer which I can use to pull myself out of a negative rut, but it can also be used in focusing on what really matters: what you can control.

Once you are able to get to that point where you are focused on what you can control, you can really gain momentum on building a future. Along that path, you will have plenty of difficult, terrible, and humbling times.
Those times will really test who you are and what you’re made of and it takes a lot of mental toughness, a lot of resilience, to fight through whatever may come up.
No matter what it is…A pandemic, a breakup, losing your job, losing a loved one, an injury…

No matter what, you have to realize that the pain and struggle is temporary, and going through it will make the positive and good times that much better.

You have to stay strong and show resilience in the negative and bad times.

You have to savor and capitalize in the positive and good times.

Always remember, This Too Shall Pass.
